Dance Masters of America (DMA) is the largest and oldest teachers’ dance organization in North America, proudly serving the dance community since 1885. DMA is a non-profit educational organization of certified dance educators who have demonstrated professional qualifications through certification testing, professional performance careers, degree certification from approved institutions of higher education, or successful examination through recognized professional dance organizations.
As a member-run organization operated by dedicated volunteers, DMA is built on a shared commitment to advancing dance education, professionalism, and artistic excellence. With 28 chapters across the United States and Canada, DMA represents a strong and supportive network of educators and professionals united by a passion for teaching and mentorship.
